Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking to hire an Assistant Project Manager who wants to join our dynamic and energetic team all while traveling the United States. This role will work collaboratively with the project team to ensure that a quality project is produced safely, on time, and within budget. What you’ll do: Support essential project duties including: Promoting safe jobsites Pre-job planningCost and labor trackingDocument control (material submittals, RFIs, change orders, etc.) Procuring material and tools Coordination of subcontractors Contract complianceRead and understand project drawingsMonitor the production phase at various levelsCollect and compile statistical quality dataMake recommendations on how to prevent common errors Who you are: We are pursuing entry-level candidates with the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, other related major, or equivalent construction/Union trade backgroundInternships or other relevant work experienceWilling to travelStrong work ethic Problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to prioritize and manage time Excellent written and verbal communicationDetailed documentation skillsKeen attention to detail Who we are: Aldridge, a family-owned company, is one of the largest specialty contractors in the US, dealing in the power and transportation markets.
